MakeUp 101: BEFORE APPLYING MAKEUP The Basic

It is good to have a regimen that you will stick to and will not disrupt the normal cycle of skin renewal. Did you know that our skin renews very 21 to 28 days compared to baby skin renews every 2 weeks.It is very important to maintain a healthy, younger looking skin everyday, below are the important steps to follow everyday to apply makeup.
1. Cleanse
Make sure that the skin is properly cleaned before anything is put on. It is good to cleanse your face with gentle cleanser and water.
2. Tone
The toning process is the part where you prep your face before anything is applied, because it assist in absorbing the moisturiser or serum onto the skin. Toner brings back the neutral condition of the face like just before washing. It brings back the ph level that has been strip down by the cleanser so that the skin is prepared to accept any skincare that will follow.
3. Moisturise (Serum)
Moisturiser will bring extra moisture to the face. This is very essential especially to those who have a very dry skin. I have oily skin, but I still put on moisturiser or serum to make ny skin supple and healthier. Drier skin is prone to dry patches after applying foundation. So this moisturiser will fade the dehydration and make the canvass more smoothly.
4. Prime
After moisturiser, some women do not put on primer just because the moisturiser that has just been put on is just enough for the foundation to slide. However this is a big NO nO for the makeup artist. primes primes the skin for any makeup that will be applied. The purpose is like putting a veil over your skin, a protection from the makeup ingredients, a barrier for the skin from the makeup. And it will also temporarily erase pores, make the skin smoother canvass and make your makeup last longer.
