Old Scars

Old Scars are darkened skin, so a cream concealer is a good choice. Depending on the pigmentation of the skin, you may want to put a color correcting product first before the regular concealer just like any discolouration problem. Choose the concealer that as the same as your skin color. Do not get a lighter shade as it will only accentuate the scarred surface.

Application is as easy as one two three. First pat the concealer into the centre of the imperfection, then blend it outward using small concealer brush. Blend the edges well that it disappears into the skin. Remember to put only on the affected area. It is better to use little by little at a time to attain that natural looking skin.

You can also use your clean finger to pat the edges if such concealer is harder to blend.
