Review on SMASHBOX Always Sharp Liner

Midnight (Blue), 3D Night Gem (Silver), 3D Orchid (Purple) are LIMITED EDITIONS.

Sumatra (Dark Brown), Raven (Black) are PERMANENT

The limited editions Midnight (Blue), 3D Night Gem (Silver), 3D Orchid (Purple) did not impress me in fact it changed my impression on Smashbox products. Why do they have to change formulation when they release one? They should at least stick to the original formulation that is pigmented and not substandard quality. Pardon me to describe them that way but it is the truth. They should at least release a better quality since these are part of their promotions. To be tested by users and convince them to buy their products again.

The Raven did not impress me either since it keeps on breaking whenever applied. Oh I don't know. Maybe I got the low quality batch? The only one that impress me was the Sumatra. Very pigmented. It did not budge , moved, nor streaked. The swatch on it is one swipe and so with the Raven. The 3 others were swatch twice to get those pigments and that says a lot, that not all of their Always Sharp Liner are not a good quality. There are other drugstore products with lower prices and reachable at your department stores near you that will beat these high end eyeliners, they are the tried and tested Maybelline and L'oreal Eyeliners.

Final verdict, not recommended.
